How to order pencil pet portraits |
|
| I do my pencil portraits from photographs, either that I have taken (not practical in most cases) or supplied by you. In order to make my job easier and the end result what you desire, please follow these instructions: | |
| 1. Provide close-ups of your pets face, at least three, from slightly
different positions, ie: slightly left of face on, face on, and slightly
right of face on. Try to take photos as near eye-height as
possible. To far up or down tends to distort features.
2. Please take photos where a flash is not needed, as the flash will obscure parts of the eyes which are very important in portraying the personality of your pet. 3. Make sure the background is contrasting, for example, dark shadows, or very dark conditions will not help me if your pet is black or has black or dark brown coloring. 4. The photo must be clear and not blurred. Please check any photo
you may scan to ensure the quality is good and then check and compare
the scanned image to the original. (If you cannot scan your photos, you
may send them via US Mail and they will be returned with your finished
portrait. 5. Include a description or paragraph about your pets personality. Aggressive, timid, friendly, suspicious, loving, happy, sad and any other description which you feel typifies your pet. You can e-mail the scanned images or digital photos (or any questions you may have) to me at: dsheridan@gorge.net
Sheridan Graphics My charge for a portrait of a single pet is $70.00 plus $10.00 shipping and insurance within the continental US (overseas orders please e-mail me first). I require payment in advance by check or money order (US funds) made out to David M. Sheridan. My work is guaranteed, so if you are not satisfied, you may return the artwork to me within thirty days of shipping date and I will refund your payment upon receipt.
